It was my birthday yesterday. I’m 26 years-old.
My heart just sank about a mile after typing that. I don’t like growing up.
Like my dad always says, “it’s better than the alternative.” And I know I’m extremely fortunate to be celebrating another birthday, healthy and happy.
But is it ok to be a little sad too? I just miss being a kid. Before rent payments and car payments and responsibility and working 9-5 8-6 and grocery shopping and student loans and meal planning and cleaning.

I watched this movie at least 10 billion times growing up. My brother and I were a little obsessed. All I wanted in life was my own derby car, preferably just like The Blur, and an awesome club house where I could hang out with other She-Women Men Haters (as opposed to He-Man Women Haters of course).
I watched this movie twice in recent memory. Is that sad? I'm 25 years-old.

Classic Disney Channel reality television, before reality television was your only option. I thought of this show today because it's a scortchah in New England, which means summer, which means summer camp, which means BUG JUICE: my favorite summer TV show of all time. I definitely just watched the first 10 minutes of Episode 1 on Youtube. I love the internet.
