Major obstacle at the gym today!

I need me some Thong Song Radio to power through a workout! So disappointing. I tried closing the app and reloading it, nothing worked
Fortunately, I always have my backup iPod shuffle with me. So I didn’t have to workout entirely without music (thank goodness). But my shuffle has like, 30 songs on it total. Not joking. I really need to get around to adding more, but I’m super duper lazy when it comes to updating my playlists. Does anyone else feel like it’s work?
Anywho, I did this 30 min machine mix up workout again because I was feeling antsy and needed to bounce from machine to machine. Then I came home and did the cardio workout for phase 1 of body revolution. Definitely getting a tad bored with the cardio for this program, especially since I do my own thang at the gym before it. I’m looking forward to whatever Jillian throws at me during phase 2!
Since it’s Friday and all, I thought I’d keep things fun and simple, and fill out another survey! Sorry if you hate them, but I think they’re fun
1. Favorite cereal as a child?
I think an easier question to answer would be what cereal didn’t I like as a child. And the answer would be none. In all seriousness though, if I had to pick, I remember Trix and Cocoa Pebbles were at the top of my list!
2. Coffee or Tea? With milk or without?
Coffee every morning. Sometimes it’s what motivates me to get out of bed! I love it with some almond milk, it adds a nutty flavor that I’m a huge fan of. I also love flavored green tea throughout the day, and especially as a night cap.
3. The one food you eat most often at breakfast?
Eggs. I love me a cheesy breakfast sandwich, almost every morning.
1. Sandwiches are generally considered a “lunch food.” If you had to choose between a grilled cheese and a peanut butter and jelly, which would you pick?
I would choose peanut butter and jelly, all day, every day. I love it so much that I sometimes steal my nephew’s PB&J sandwiches when he’s not looking. I also steal his grilled cheese more often than I’d like to admit so…. yea, I need to stop stealing his food. Poor kid.
2. You can only put four ingredients in your salad (not including greens); what do you throw in the mix? Additionally, which greens and dressing do you pick?
Greens: arugula. Dressing: Annie’s raspberry vinaigrette. Add-ins: grilled chicken, dried cranberries, almonds, and fresh strawberries. Try it. It’s delicious.
3. One food you can’t live without at lunch?
Chobani! I’m a woman
1. It’s the end of the day. You’re tired, hungry, and your fridge is empty. If a fast food (from a chain) is your only option, where do you go and what do you order?
Okay so, sushi might not technically be considered fast food, but when you live directly upstairs from your favorite sushi place and they can have your favorite sushi ready 10 minutes after you call…that’s fast food in my book. So yes. A Tango Roll from Tokyo. All the way.
And I just realized the question specifically says food chain….and since I don’t want to be a survey cheater I’ll go with Chipotle or Cilantro. A nice hefty burrito bowl sounds great right now.
2. TV/computer on or off while you’re eating?
On. Guilty. Usually tuned to HGTV at night, or the Today Show in the morning.
3. The one food you eat most often at dinner?
Well, if I’m being honest, lately it’s been the same foods you see for breakfast and lunch (cereal, egg sandwiches, oatmeal, almond butter, yogurt). But when I actually make dinner, I’d say salmon or any fish is the most frequent flyer.
1. Choose between these two American desserts: cheesecake or apple pie?
Love both of course, and any other dessert I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting in person. But if I had to choose, I’d say apple pie. My mom’s apple pie. Tastes like childhood Sometimes I’ll heat up an apple with cinnamon in the microwave and top it with vanilla ice cream just to be reminded of the comforts of home!
2. Choose between these two foreign desserts: tiramisu (Italy) or flan (Spain)?
Tiramisu definitely. Sorry Spain/Mexico. LOVE your savory foods and eat them constantly, but your desserts are just not my thing.
3. Ice cream: cone or cup?
Cone. It just feels special with a cone, probably because it’s only something you have when you actually go out for ice cream. When I’m having it at home, I usually eat it
straight from the carton from a cup
