Super Meghan!

So remember when I told you I tore over the fire during the Warrior dash like it was nothing?

Yeah, I wasn’t kidding.

If that picture isn’t badass, I don’t know what is!

Please notice that me and Andrea are literally smiling in these pictures. I was not exaggerating at all about how much fun we had. I am chomping at the bit wishing another race was right around the corner!!

Here’s a slightly less badass picture for you:

Ok so, I took a mean digger at the finish line. No biggie. It was slippery.

I’m so happy all these moments were captured on camera! It was such a memorable experience, I definitely want to make this an annual event. And it’s pretty much confirmed that I’ll be training for a Tough Mudder in October. Needs to happen.

I decided to send my epic jumping picture to a couple friends in my office, just to show off my hardcore skills. Needless to say, they took it and ran with it….

We clearly had a very productive afternoon.

Work it Out

I had plans last night to try on bridesmaid dresses with my sister and a few of the other bridesmaids, so I didn’t have time for both cardio and strength. I decided I was in the mood for an incline interval, so I did this 30 min intense incline treadmill workout.

It literally kicked my butt. So sweaty. So gross. Phew. I cooled down for a few minutes, then drove home to quickly shower, eat dinner (cereal + peanut butter vanilla protein bar, no time!), and then I was out the door to try on dresses!

Weight Loss Update

I know I said yesterday that I only lost 1-2 lbs the past month on the Ripped program, but it turns out I just had a couple “bad” weigh-ins, and lost about 4 lbs since my week off and plateau attack plan. While I was excited to see a lower number on the scale yesterday morning, I wasn’t happy dance excited like I normally am. Losing weight has become less of a concern for me. I’m much more into working out, challenging myself, and continuing to eat healthy (for the most part) no matter what the scale says. Look at me, I’m growing!

Speaking of bad weigh-ins, here’s a prime example. I weighed myself on Monday morning, and three days later on Thursday morning, I was a full 5 POUNDS lighter! Seriously? It’s insane how easily my body retains water. This is why I care less about the scale, and more about my other fitness and health related goals.

I saved the best for last. I love my coworkers!! Hahaha
