So I had all kinds of plans for today.
1. Try Bikram Yoga for the first time.
2. Begin the apartment hunt for next year by touring a place.
3. Bake cookies.
4. Go shopping.
Two out of four did not happen. Can you guess which two?
Here’s a hint.
Ok so. We didn’t go to yoga. But! I did workout today. I decided I wasn’t in the mood for a planned workout, and hopped on the treadmill to see what happened.
Something kinda amazing happened. I ran 3 miles in 25:20! That’s under an 8.5 minute mile which is a HUGE accomplishment for me. People, just two months ago it took me 31 whole minutes to run 3 miles. I never pushed myself before. It feels great to see results!
I cooled down after my run with 15 minutes on the arc trainer, then drove home to do Level 3 of the shred. Then I showered and got ready for our appointment at 2pm to check out an apartment.
But the guy never showed! Boo.
No matter, I drove home to spend some quality time with the family baking two kinds of cookies. Because we’re all indecisive in my family and why bake just one kind when you can bake two half batches? Win win.
This photo does not do them justice. But my Uncle was looking at me like I was a complete nut job for wanting a picture of my cookies. So I felt rushed. I guess he kinda had a point. Whatevs.
Oh and, shopping. With my mom. I was super well behaved and only spent $50ish. But I bought more sports bras that I don’t need. Addiction!
